  1. Brown Bears are found in the wooded and mountainous areas of North America and Eurasia.
  2. They are one of the largest species of bears next only to Grizzly bears and polar Bears.
  3. They grow up to 3 meters tall and look enormous and intimidating standing on their hind legs.
  4. They have huge shoulders, powerful forearms and massive paws and sharp long claws.
  5. Their specially structured paws and legs help them run fast, climb trees and swim.
  6. They are omnivores feeding mainly on vegetation, fish, small mammals and occasionally deer.
  7. They are extremely dominant predators.
  8. Their distinctively enormous shoulder muscles help them break the bones of their prey in a single swipe.
  9. There are no natural predators of Brown Bear.
  10. Humans have hunted them in the past but now that is under control with a hunting ban.
