  3. They were actually bred initially in the mountains of Tibet.

  5. On an average, they live to be around 13-15 years old.
  6. They have a protection of double coat of long hair to keep them warm from the harsh cold climate.
  7. They are known to be alert dogs that are great at alerting the bigger dogs of danger.
  8. Thereby making them a great choice of household dogs that can be kept with other bigger dogs.
  9. They are best known for their quiet temperament and nature.
  10. Despite being quiet, they are inquisitive dogs and make for excellent companions to humans.
