  5. They need to be trained from an early age because of their large size.
  6. They can be quite willful and difficult to obedience train.

  8. They are very affectionate, even tempered, kind, patient, noble and gentle.
  9. They are a great choice for family pets with a little supervision around small children.
  10. Interestingly, they are characterized by their stubborn “what’s in it for me?” attitude.
  11. Their stubbornness, excessive drooling and big size, they are given up for adoption more than other breeds.
