  7. They are not prone to a host of difficult traits like pining, insecurity, destructiveness, aggressiveness etc.
  8. They are also exceptionally good retrievers, so much so that they can carry an egg without breaking it.
  9. This is because, they have been bred to retrieve game like the waterfowl.
  10. They enjoy holding objects, and even hold hands or arms in their mouths instinctively.
  11. However, they are prone to chewing, and have to be trained out of this behavior.
  12. They can be extensively used in waterfowl hunting as their coat repels water to a great extent.
