  1. Ragdolls are large, medium-haired cats that are believed to have their origin in North America.
  2. They grow to an average size of 122cm and weigh around 9kg.
  3. On an average, they live to be around 14 years old.
  4. Ragdolls are a mixed breed between the Burmese, Javanese, Siamese, Birman and Persian Cat.
  5. They could also be a combination of any two of the sea breed of cats.
  6. They are large cats that have a rounded body with short limbs and a slightly bigger tummy.
  7. They are generally white in color with distinctive brown markings like a Siamese cat.
  8. Sometimes, they inherit the long hair and blue eyes of the Persian cat and the Birman Cat.
  9. They are most famous for their calm and cool temperament.
  10. They are also known to be very affectionate and easy-going by nature.
  11. They are also very intelligent with a gentle and relaxed disposition.
  12. When compared to other breed of domestic cats, they are more chilled out and friendly.
  13. They get their name from being extremely easy to handle and in being floppy when picked up.
