  10. Hares are herbivores feeding on grass, seeds, vegetables and fruits.
  11. The female hare gives birth to a litter of around 6 young ones.
  12. The Baby hare are born with their full coat of fur and open eyes.
  13. The baby hares are able to protect and look after themselves from a very young age.
  14. Hares are a threatened species today.
